VERSE(S) OF THE MONTH

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
(Psalm 27:1)

Meditation

In moments of uncertainty, fear can quietly take root in our hearts. We worry about the future, about purpose, about the paths still unfolding before us. This verse gently reminds us that God does not remove us from questions—He walks with us through them.

The Lord is called light because He reveals truth step by step, not all at once. He is salvation because our worth and destiny are not earned, but received. When we feel unsteady, this Psalm invites us to rest in God’s presence and trust that He is our shelter, even when the way forward is unclear.

Today, pause and breathe. Place your fears before the Lord. Let His light calm your heart, and allow His strength to carry you—one faithful step at a time.
